KEEP THOSE HEEL LIFTS IN YOUR SANDALS

I am often asked by my customers (espeically women in the summertime or those who live in warm climates as I do) how to keep the Adjust-A-Lift heel lifts secure in sandals or backless shoes.

Although the Adjust-A-Lift and the wedges and the new Kinetic Comfort Heel Pads were not designed to be worn with sandals and backless shoes one of my customers told me that she has had success with using a 3M double-sided tape to hold the heel lifts in place.

Just remember that heat from your foot and rising heat from the surface you are walking on may compromise both the tape and the heel lifts. But for special shoes that you are wearing for a fairly short time or if you don't mind replacing your heel lift more often that you normall would, I say go for it, ladies!

AND AN ANNOUNCEMENT: last week I was told by the inventor of the Adjust A Lift products that there will soon be a new product available that will keep your heel lift attached to those special shoes or sandals. . . . stay tuned!

HELPFUL USE FOR FULL SOLE INSERTS

TANYA SAYS . . .

For many years I have been insisting that I wear a size 8 in my New Balance running shoes. I tried an 8 1/2 as suggested by the clerk at the New Balance store about 4 years ago but it felt too big and I returned to wearing a size 8. That size 8 just felt more snug and secure. In the 8 1/2 size my foot felt like it could move around too easily and that made me uncomfortable.

I never associated the foot pain I had with the fact that that my shoes were too tight. The last time I bought shoes there I got a lecture from the fitter/clerk and decided to go with her advice for the 8 1/2 because it suddently dawned on me, HEY YOU SELL FULL SOLE INSERTS SO JUST PUT ONE OF THOSE IN EACH OF YOUR SHOES to see if that works to fill up some space and make my foot feel more secure.

Guess what . . . IT WORKED LIKE A CHARM. NO MORE PAIN!!! So when I started playing tennis again (after 18 years) I didn't even hesitate to put the FULL SOLE INSERTS into those shoes also and I play PAIN-FREE.

So ladies (especially) don't be vain like I was and don't live with pain in ANY of your shoes. Even if you don't wear the Adjust-A-Lift heel lifts or the other products, these simple, comfortable, long-wearing FULL SOLE INSERTS could be the answer to your foot pain!
